KEVIN PYNE, of Lake Street, Dartmouth, writes: 'Don't let emotions rule your head concerning the Dartmouth Lower Ferry' proposed sell off says Councillor Rufus Gilbert, Conservative member for Kingsbridge north . Well he would, wouldn't he when he is a district council member for Kingsbridge and it makes no difference at all to his life. In fact it shows the problem in a nutshell. There are just too many people sticking their oar in at district into what is Dartmouth's business. So might I suggest that he keeps his interest to the affairs of Kingsbridge and leave our town be? District control of a town that had its own seal of incorporation since the Time of Edward the Third sticks in mine, and many other's, craws and it has done since the day it was forced on us . I voted Conservative ( what choices are there?), but I didn't vote for the great grab and sell off of the nation's assets to those who, when we can't defend ourselves or police our borders, will jet off with the money they have made live in warm sunny parts of the USA leaving the rest of us to our inevitable fate.
