A Dartmouth runner is raising funds for a mental health charity this Halloween.
Ellie Lyons-Martin is organising two film events – The Addams Family and The Shining - at The Flavel tomorrow, October 29, including fancy dress options, for the charity Mind.
Ellie is passionate about raising awareness and money for Mind after receiving their support through a difficult time in her final year of university. She’s recently completed three marathons in three weeks - Brighton, London, and Manchester – to raise awareness of the charity. She achieved a personal best and time of less than four hours at both London and Manchester. At London Ellie was an official team member for Mind.
The first of Ellie’s films, The Addams Family, is a family late afternoon event, with prizes for best costume and a treat – no tricks! - for everybody. The evening event is The Shining, with optional fancy dress and a bar available.
