THE DARKE family from Halwell Farm near South Pool took the supreme championship in the sheep classes at the 35th Exeter and District Christmas Primestock show.

The family entered a pair of five-month-old Texel cross lambs at the show, held at Exeter Livestock Market on Friday, December 2.
A spokesman for the show said: ‘The show attracted a good quality of prime cattle, butchers lambs and pigs for the show and sale, which was conducted by Kivells Auctioneers.’
Trophies were presented by show chairman John Quick.
