Entry for the Kingsbridge Show Childrens’ Art section closes this Saturday.

Prizes are waiting to be given away in the Children’s Arts section of the Kingsbridge Show this year, with local businesses keen to show their support for the youngest exhibitors in the agricultural and horticultural show, this year held on September 1, by providing prizes for the competition.

Up for grabs is a new teddy and a £10 voucher from The Trading Post in the ’Dress up your Teddy’ category; this years theme is ’Ted goes on Holiday!’

For the budding writer, The Harbour Bookshop have helped create a new class called ’Write your own poem.. one verse in your own handwriting’. They are providing two new cups, a special book ’Lost Words’ and £10 voucher for the winners in the 4-7 and 8-11 sections.

Entries for these classes and many more including painting, collage, fruit and vegetable sculpture, photography, baking and floral art close on Saturday, July 14.
