The statistics say 20 million people in the UK pray; 13 million pray at least once a month; nine million every day and that one in three people believe God will answer their prayers.

You don’t have to have a problem or be in trouble to pray. Prayer is a conversation with God and you can talk to him about anything.

Many people simply want to know if there is something that can make sense of life.

So the churches in Kings­bridge and area have joined together in delivering the booklet ‘trypraying’ free to every home.

If you are open-minded and willing to check things out, then read it and pray for a few minutes each day for a week.
