The Olympic style torch, which is normally used for St Luke's 'Light up a Life' services at Christmas, is going to be visiting all the St Luke's charity shops in Devon and Cornwall.
Runners will reach the St Luke's shop in Ivybridge on Thursday, April 26, at 3.45pm.
Shop manager Jean Smith said: 'It is going to be a very special occasion as it will mark the 30th anniversary of St Luke's Hospice. We can't wait to see all the runners in Ivybridge.'
The event has been organised by St Luke's ambassadors Barry and Sandra Hopper, and the relay will take place from April 26 to 28, finishing at the Drake St Luke's shop in Plymouth city centre.
As well as calling in at the Ivybridge shop on Fore Street, they will also be stopping at the Kingsbridge and South Brent shops.
Barry Hopper said: 'Once the relay has been done we hope those who carry the torch will regard it as a happy experience.
'Hopefully, the commemorative medals and specially designed t-shirts, will provide a lasting momento of the day that they gave their time and energies to raise awareness and funds.'
