MRS D H TWINING, of Rivendell, Kingsale Road, Salcombe, writes:
I, and I think many other people in the South Hams, would like to pay tribute to a remarkable man whose sad death you reported in today's Gazette –Bob Willis.
As a 'carer' who visited the sick or 'recuperating' in their own homes he was patient, loving, and worked far longer than the hours for which he was paid, cheering people up in the darkest times.
To those of us whose loved-ones were his patients, he was a tower of strength.
We would like his family and friends to know how much he was appreciated.
