The Kingsbridge committee for Cancer Research UK held its annual big breakfast in the Methodist Church hall at the top of Fore Street on Friday, March 17.

The team of ladies cooked and served more than 200 people between 8.30am and 1.30pm, including members of South Hams Newspapers’ esteemed advertising department.

The sausages, bacon and eggs were generously donated by local businesses, enabling the committee to reach the final total, after expenses, of £2,526.

Many thanks to all those who came to support us on the day, to enjoy cooked breakfasts, toast, homemade marmalade, teas and coffees.
