The National Service (Royal Air Force) Association is open to those conscripted into the RAF between 1939 and 1963.

A south west group of this association meets in Exeter every other month, not simply to reminisce and enjoy nostalgic comradeship, but also to participate in a full social programme.

Among recent events open to local members have been visits to operational RAF, Royal Navy and Army bases, talks by guest speakers on a range of topics, and participation in the annual service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in London.
