Businesses across the South Hams are celebrating last night after receiving honours in the South West Tourism Awards, held at Exeter Cathedral.

A silver awards went to Pennywell Farm, Buckfastleigh, in the large attraction of the year category; and the Salcombe Harbour Hotel & Spa, Salcombe, in the large hotel of the year section.

Bronze awards were give to the Kaywana Hall, Kingswear, in the best B&B category; The Victoria Inn, Salcombe, in the pub of the year category; and Dartmouth Tourist Information Centre in the tourist information service of the year section.
