Sydney Psylum, of Court-enay Street, Salcombe, writes: Concerning the recent proposed bus cuts, we all pay council tax, so why are non-drivers such as myself being targeted by the removal of these services? Once again it is the poorer in society who suffer and subsidise the rich to drive around in their Chelsea tractors – our money mends roads too. Considering the billions currently being spent by the Government on transport systems across the country, the notion that 'we're all in this together' is frankly laughable, and to be isolated in one's own town on a Sunday in the 21st century simply beggars belief.
