DONNA McCheyne wants your unwanted bras to help re-home dogs from war zones.

A charity that help re-home dogs from war zones such as Iraq and Afganhaistan is collecting bras, that will be recycled, and the funds used to help bring these dogs, to the UK, for a safe and happy alternative life.

Donna, who lives in Malborough and also does a lot of funraising for Kommandantsdrift eco school in South Africa, said: 'I decided to ask everyone I know if they have any unwanted bras they could donate, but thought an arranged "drop off" would be more fun and more productive than just a random, 'give me the bras when you see me' attack.

'I spoke with Liz Hore at the Victoria Inn in Salcombe and asked if she would be happy to host a coffee morning, combined with an "Unwanted Bra Drop-Off". She was happy to oblige and has kindly offered a small donation per cup of coffee sold, towards my charity pot for the South African children.'

The coffee morning will be held at the Victoria Inn on Saturday, March 23, from 11am to 1pm.
