Local photographer Martyn Norsworthy is continuing his award-winning streak picking up two Bronze awards in an international photography competition.
Martyn was recently named as a finalist in the One Eyeland Competitions Wedding category - earning himself a place in the annual volume of One Eyeland’s Best of the Best Photographers.
Martyn explained: "The judging is, understandably, intense and across multiple levels.
"It is an incredibly tough nut to crack with only two photographers from the UK becoming Finalists, so I am delighted to not only have two winning entries but to have secured a Bronze in my fifth year of entering."
On top of securing Bronze at the competition, Martyns work will also feature both the 2020 and 2021 editions of the annual volume of One Eyeland’s Best of The Best Photographers.
This is not only a collector’s item but is considered to be the industry Who’s, Who of international photographers - where only the top two per cent of photographers images are featured.
Hot on the heels of his Bronze win in the One Eyeland competition, Martyn has managed to secure himself two more Bronze awards from the prestigious Guild of Photographers Image of the Month competition.
The competition attracts nearly 2000 entries each month nationally from a guild of highly professional photographers.
The Guild of Photographers is a highly respected national photographic body, and its members are dedicated to enhancing their skills in the art, craft and profession of photography.
Commenting on Martyn’s win Directors of the Guild Lesley and Steven Thirsk said: "We are both delighted that Martyn has again achieved these Awards.
"The Guild has very demanding standards when judging photography competitions. The judging is undertaken by a panel of internationally recognised experts from a variety of photographic backgrounds, so it is an achievement to be, quite rightly, proud of."
Martyn said: "It has been another great month, these awards on the heels of International Photography Awards 2021 and the One Eyeland Awards too.
"It’s all about consistency"
