Youth Genesis are reviving the lost art of the jumble sale to help fund their youth work in Dartmouth. A jumble sale will be held on Saturday, March 17 at noon to 3pm at the youth club building, ‘Decks’.

Contributions are welcome and can be handed in next week from Tuesday, March 13 to Friday, during the Flavel Church’s opening hours: Tuesday 11am to 1pm; Wednesday 11am to 3pm; Thursday 11am to 1pm; Friday 10am to noon.

Councillor David Gent said: “There will be an astonishing range of goods at our jumble sale. All proceeds will go to youth work in Dartmouth.”

If visiting the Flavel Church, installed by Dartmouth Community Chest, there is a coat rack at the church on which unwanted coats may be left for those requiring a free coat during these cold months. Coat donations are welcomed.
