A South Hams estate with a 16th-century history, 56 acres of rolling countryside and its own vineyard has gone on the market for £4.25million.
Calancombe Estate, near Modbury, is now home to one of Devon's largest vineyards – but its current owners say becoming wine producers was never part of the original plan.
Caroline and Lance Whitehead bought the estate in 2012 after initially looking for a holiday home in the South West.
The pair went on to plant the first vines, with the vineyard eventually growing to about 23 acres and producing its first harvest in 2017.
Today the property comprises Calancombe Farmhouse, a second six-bedroom farmhouse, a cottage, outbuildings and a purpose-built winery, all set among fields, orchards, ponds and vineyards.

The main farmhouse has five bedrooms and about 4,000 sq ft of accommodation, while Coombe Farmhouse includes six bedrooms, a cinema room and an indoor swimming pool.
There is also a one-bedroom Vine Cottage and an estate office with a gym.
The vineyard produces still and sparkling English wines using varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Bacchus and Ortega. The estate also makes cider, cassis, apple brandy and gin.
Its winery, measuring about 60m by 16m, includes production and storage facilities as well as a tasting room, commercial kitchen and events space.
The estate's own account describes the site's south-facing slopes, free-draining soil and microclimate as particularly suited to growing grapes.
Alongside the vines are more than 1,000 apple trees and thousands of blackcurrant bushes, while the estate also has kitchen and flower gardens.
The property is being sold with the residential estate through agents Knight Frank, while the winery's machinery, equipment, stock and some fixtures are excluded from the asking price but can be negotiated separately.
