Dartmouth Public Transport Group is trying to get the number 111 bus service to Torbay Hospital reinstated.

Transport to health facilities has become of particular interest in South Hams with the closure of Dartmouth hospital. The loss of rapid response vehicles from the ambulance service and a rejigging of ambulance resources has placed further scrutiny on transport to the Torbay hospital.

The transport group, headed by Councillor David Gent, is meeting at the Clifton Rooms at the Guildhall in Dartmouth on Thursday, December 14, at 6pm. Cllr Gent said: “We welcome any and all to come and participate or merely watch and listen.”
