An acclaimed English chef will be spicing up the town by signing copies of his latest book today.
Rick Stein, CBE, is an English chef, author, TV presenter and restaurateur who has written over 20 cookery books, an autobiography and made over 30 cookery programmes, is causing quite a queue along Foss Street in Dartmouth.
Rick is best known for his love of fresh seafood and made his name in the 90’s with his earliest books and television series based on his life as a chef and owner of The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Cornwall.
The new book called ‘The Road to Mexico’ will be available at the Dartmouth Bookseller today, Thursday, April 19, which Rick will be on hand to sign from 12pm.
In his brand new book, Rick re-traces a journey he first took in the late 1960s – starting in San Francisco and Baja California, working his way down to Oaxaca in the very south of Mexico.
The book will be packed with brand new recipes, full of vibrant colour, anecdotes from the people he met on route and little gems of travel tips too.
