A driver was cut from a Land Rover Defender that ended up on its roof after it drove up the bank and rolled over.
The incident, which occurs on Pratt’s Lane, Aveton Gifford, on Tuesday, May 2, was attended by Ivybridge and Modbury fire crews. They received a call at 9.25am and found the female driver suspended by her seatbelt, upside down inside the vehicle.
Fire crews extracted her from the vehicle with hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools and she was treated by paramedics.
A spokesperson from South Western Ambulance Service said that one ambulance attended and the woman was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
Fire crews made the scene safe and left the vehicle in the hands of the police to be recovered.
