UPDATE: The road through The Mounts is now open in both directions. Three Kingsbridge Police cars, two fire engines from Kingsbridge and Dartmouth Fire Stations, two ambulances and a first responder were called to the scene involving two vehicles, along with an off-duty doctor who was in the area. The two occupants of the vehicles were taken to hospital via ambulance but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. PSCO Paul O'Dwyer from Kingsbridge Police thanked drivers for their patience while they dealt with the incident, which was slowed due to the accident occurring in the narrows of The Mounts, making clearing the road more difficult. KINGSBRIDGE Police are currently at The Mounts dealing with an accident.

The road is currently closed and there is a diversion for small vehicles only. Avoid if possible. Will update as soon as we can.
