A couple of people looking to make amends after damaging the ‘world’s smallest nightclub’ left an apology letter and £40 cash.
Last weekend, a group of friends forced entry into the phonebox and caused damage to the disco ball in the World’s Smallest Nightclub.
Earlier this week, Kingsbridge Police found an anonymous apology letter and £40 cash in their letterbox from the people involved.
According to the police, the letter stated that a “couple of friends decided to visit the phonebox after they had too much to drink and removed the lock to the phonebox and accidentally damaged the glitter ball. They were very sorry and ashamed of their behaviour and wanted to put things right so they donated money to replace the ball. They were really sorry!”
Kingsbridge Police added: “We all make mistakes, but it’s how we deal with them afterwards which defines us.”
The money has now been passed on to the Kingsbridge Town Council to fix the damage.
