A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a crash near Dartmouth in the early hours of Friday, April 1.

Two people, including the alleged drink driver, were injured in the collision on the A3122 near Venn Lane at 5.30am.

Both people were treated by paramedics at the scene following the incident. The fire service also attended.

A police spokesperson said: ‘A 52-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following a head-on collision on the A3122 near Dartmouth this morning.

‘Extensive damage has been caused to both the Skoda and Ford Fiesta car involved in the incident.’
