KINGSBRIDGE Police discovered a ‘guerrilla grow’ cannabis plantation on the South West Coast Path on Friday, October 7.

The police received a tip off about the plants, which were described as ‘visible from the coast path’ and ‘well-established and well looked after.’

But police wouldn’t confirm the exact location of the plantation.

Fourteen plants were seized and taken to the police station as part of the investigation.

Neighbourhood team leader Sgt David Green said: ‘We will now be investigating who has been growing these plants.

‘Would local farmers and landowners please be aware that there may be more plantations within the rural area and to call us if you notice anything suspicious.’
