Jonathan Robinson, president, Kingsbridge Rugby Football Club, writes: On behalf of everybody connected with Kingsbridge RFC, I would like to extend our thanks to the community for its support and help over the past 125 years and for helping to make our recent '125 Celebration' weekend such a success. From the amazing dinner on Saturday evening, the wonderful displays of rugby by more than 400 youngsters – and the not so young – on Sunday afternoon, to the grand finale, when we were entertained by The Wurzels, it truly was an outstanding and memorable couple of days. Unfortunately events such as these do create noise and disturbance to those living near the club, and it is to them we extend our sincere thanks. Your patience and understanding when sometimes the noise levels increase and the odd ball lands in your garden is very much appreciated. We are striving to be a great community club where all are welcome. This can only be achieved by the enthusiasm and resilience of the club members and the help and support of the residents of Kingsbridge. Once again, very many thanks for your support of the club.
