Parish Council has donated a cheque to help support the Community Bus but it still needs volunteers.
“For this valuable service, Kingswear Parish Council awarded a payment of £500 to help fund the well known Yellow Buses and recognise the positive impact it has made.”
Dave ‘the yellow bus man’ accepted the cheque on behalf of the company, the Brixham Community Bus.
District Cllr Jonathan Hawkins has said the bus is run and driven by volunteers and they would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to help. He also said if more drivers can’t be found the bus service will have to stop.The bus will start running on Friday, September 28 from Brixham to Kingswear and is an hourly service.
