Molly is fundraising for Help For Heroes for the second year in a row

By Sam Acourt in Charity

Molly Johns is holding a bake sale and is attempting a 500km cycle to raise money for Help For Heroes.

Molly, 14, started fundraising for the charity, which supports British veterans and their families, last year when she took part in a five-day sponsored silence and a sponsored cycle, raising more than £450.

This year, Molly, who attends Kingsbridge Community College, will be holding a bake sale on Monday, March 27, at KCC, part of a national bake for the charity. On Saturday, April 1, she will also be tackling another cycle at Tesco in Kingsbridge, starting at 8am. While family members will jump on the bike to give Molly some concert breaks, she will be doing the whole ride 500km - nearly 311 - herself, and you can donate.

Molly, who lives in Malborough, used to be a member of the Kingsbridge Air Cadets and is now an army cadet and part of D Company.

You can see Molly completing her cycle at Tesco, Kingsbridge, on Saturday from 8am onwards. You can also donate to Help For Heroes on her JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Heather-Johns1
